St Davids Head is the westernmost point of Wales and this coastal walk along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path offers some of the most dramatic cliff scenery in Britain. The headland is wild and windswept, with views out to Ramsey Island and beyond.

The route follows the coast path past ancient field systems, Iron Age huts and dramatic rock formations. The cliffs here drop sheer into the Atlantic and on stormy days the waves are spectacular. In calm weather the sea is a brilliant turquoise. Marine wildlife including seals, dolphins and seabirds are regularly spotted.

Dogs are welcome on the coast path but should be kept under control near the cliff edges. St Davids, Britain's smallest city, has several dog-friendly cafes and shops.
