This walk from the popular village of Betws-y-Coed visits two of Snowdonia's most enchanting natural features: the Fairy Glen gorge and the dramatic Swallow Falls. The route follows the River Conwy and River Llugwy through stunning Welsh woodland.

The Fairy Glen is a narrow, moss-covered gorge where the River Conwy flows through a twisting rock channel. Swallow Falls is Snowdonia's most popular waterfall, where the River Llugwy crashes over a series of rock steps. Both are magical places, especially after rain when water levels are high.

The woodland walking between the two features is beautiful, with mature deciduous trees lining the river banks. Dogs enjoy the river access points and the varied terrain of this route.
