Mumbles Pier to Langland Bay

This coastal walk connects the popular Victorian resort of Mumbles with the sheltered sandy cove of Langland Bay, following the cliffs of the Gower coastline. The route offers sea views, limestone headlands and two excellent beaches.
The Route
Start at Mumbles Pier and head west along the seafront promenade past Bracelet Bay. The path climbs around Rams Tor headland with views back to Swansea Bay and across the Bristol Channel to Devon. Drop down to Limeslade Bay before climbing again along the clifftop. The path winds through coastal scrub and wildflower meadows before descending to Langland Bay, a popular surf beach with a beachside cafe.

Dogs are welcome on the coastal path year-round. Langland Bay allows dogs on the eastern section year-round, with some summer restrictions on the main beach. The path is well-maintained and suitable for most dogs. Several dog-friendly pubs and cafes in Mumbles village make this a rewarding circuit.
