This walk from the charming town of Midhurst explores the grounds of Cowdray Park with its romantic castle ruins and follows the River Rother through the South Downs countryside.

Cowdray Castle was one of the finest Tudor mansions in England before a disastrous fire in 1793. The ruins are atmospheric and beautiful. The Rother valley provides gentle riverside walking through water meadows and ancient parkland.
