The Stables Cafe at Haytor is a welcome sight for walkers returning from the tors. This converted stable building serves hearty breakfasts, soups, sandwiches and excellent cakes. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor seating area with views toward Haytor Rocks.
The cafe is popular with walkers, climbers and horse riders exploring eastern Dartmoor. Everything is freshly prepared and portions are generous. Hot chocolate with cream is a speciality on cold moorland days.
