Seafood Cafe on Burton Bradstock Beach
The Hive Beach Cafe sits right on the beach at Burton Bradstock on the Jurassic Coast. The cafe is famous for its freshly caught seafood, crab sandwiches and fish platters, all served with views across Lyme Bay.
Dogs are welcome outside on the terrace and beach-side seating. The cafe is a favourite stopping point on the South West Coast Path and is busy with walkers throughout the year. Fresh crab is landed daily just yards from the kitchen.
The beach itself allows dogs year-round and is backed by the dramatic golden cliffs of Burton Cliff. Swimming is possible but watch for strong currents.
