The Greenhouse is a bright, airy cafe in the centre of Winchester, filled with houseplants and natural light. The cafe serves excellent brunch, specialty coffee and homemade cakes with a focus on vegetarian and vegan options alongside classic dishes.
Dogs are welcome at the outdoor tables and in the conservatory-style section at the back. Water bowls are provided and the staff are genuinely enthusiastic about canine visitors. The avocado toast and shakshuka are among the most popular brunch items.
The cafe is a 10-minute walk from the South Downs Way and makes an excellent refuelling stop before or after a walk on St Catherine's Hill or the water meadows.
