Cairngorm Lodge is a traditional Highland hotel set in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, surrounded by ancient Caledonian pine forest and within easy reach of some of Scotland's finest walks. The lodge welcomes dogs in all ground-floor rooms and in the lounge bar.
Each dog-friendly room comes with a bed, bowls and a towel for muddy paws. The hotel drying room is a godsend after wet mountain walks. The lounge bar serves local whiskies and ales beside a roaring log fire, with dogs settled on the flagstone floor.
The location is superb for walking. Loch an Eilein, Rothiemurchus Forest and the Cairngorm funicular are all within a short drive. Red squirrels visit the garden feeders each morning.
