The Star Inn at Harome is a Michelin-starred pub set in a thatched 14th-century longhouse on the edge of the North York Moors. It is one of the most celebrated dining pubs in the country, yet it retains the warmth and informality of a genuine village local. Chef Andrew Pern has been at the helm for over two decades, and his commitment to local, seasonal ingredients has earned The Star a devoted following among food lovers.

Dogs are welcome in the bar area and the front garden. The bar has flagstone floors, an open fire, and a selection of Yorkshire ales that reflect the pub's deep roots in the community. Location & Visiting

Harome is a small village near Helmsley on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. The Star has its own car park. Helmsley, with its castle and marketplace, is a short drive away. The surrounding countryside offers outstanding walking, with the Cleveland Way and numerous moorland paths within easy reach.
