Moors Edge is a small, dedicated grooming salon on the edge of the North York Moors serving Helmsley and the surrounding villages. Groomer Rachel Quinn has a particular talent with the terrier breeds common in Yorkshire, including hand-stripping for Borders, Airedales and Wire Fox Terriers.
The salon is built into a converted stone barn and offers full grooms, bath and tidy, de-matting, nail trimming and teeth cleaning. Rachel also provides a mobile grooming service for elderly dogs or owners who find it difficult to travel.
After a groom, many clients head straight out onto the nearby Cleveland Way for a walk with their freshly turned-out dog. Rachel can recommend the best local routes for showing off a fresh trim.
