This beautiful circular walk follows the Helford River through one of Cornwall's most unspoilt creek systems. The route passes through ancient oak woodland, alongside tidal creeks and through the tranquil hamlet of Helford.

The Helford River is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the peaceful walking here is a world away from Cornwall's busier beaches. The creek system supports rich wildlife including kingfishers, herons and otters.

Dogs enjoy the woodland trails and there are access points where they can paddle in the creek at low tide. The Shipwright Arms in Helford welcomes dogs and serves excellent food overlooking the river.
