This walk connects the market town of Bridport with the dramatic sandstone cliffs at West Bay, made famous by the TV drama Broadchurch. The route follows the River Brit downstream to the harbour and then climbs the cliff tops for spectacular Jurassic Coast views.

The coastal section offers breathtaking views of the golden sandstone cliffs that tower over West Bay harbour. The cliff top path is part of the South West Coast Path and provides panoramic views along the Dorset coast. Dogs are welcome on the beach at West Bay outside the summer restrictions.

Bridport is a vibrant market town with excellent independent shops and dog-friendly cafes. The combination of riverside, harbour and cliff top walking makes this a wonderfully varied route.
