Sandringham Country Park Walk

Sandringham is the private country retreat of the Royal Family, set in 24 hectares of stunning gardens surrounded by 240 hectares of country park. The country park is open to the public free of charge and provides excellent walking through woodland, heathland and parkland.
The Route
Start from the Sandringham visitor centre and follow the waymarked nature trail through the country park. The route passes through coniferous woodland, open heathland and past ornamental lakes. Extend the walk by following the sculpture trail, which features artworks inspired by the Norfolk landscape.
Dog-Friendly Details
Dogs on leads are welcome in the country park. The paths are well-maintained and suitable for all abilities. Dogs are not permitted in the formal gardens when the House is open. The woodland paths provide shade in summer and shelter in winter.
