The Route
Start from Southwold pier and walk south along the beach, passing the colourful beach huts. At the harbour, take the famous rowing boat ferry across the River Blyth (runs Easter to October, small fee). In Walberswick, walk through the village and pick up the path across the marshes. Return to Southwold via the footbridge upstream for a full circuit, or retrace your steps via the ferry.
