The Mountain Cafe is Aviemore's best-loved independent cafe, serving substantial breakfasts, homemade soups, hearty lunches and outstanding cakes to walkers, climbers and outdoor enthusiasts. The cafe has a genuine mountain culture atmosphere.
Dogs are welcome throughout and the cafe regularly has as many dogs as humans. Water bowls are available and the staff know every regular dog by name. The cafe has a boot room where muddy gear can be left before eating.
The portions are generous, the coffee is excellent and the atmosphere buzzes with outdoor energy. A perfect start or finish to any Cairngorms adventure.
